After a period of conflict and crisis throughout the Balearic islands, Son Fornés became inhabited once again at the beginning of the 5th Century before the Christian era by a new community which did not use the Talaiots and thus we call this period POST-TALAIOTIC.

Presence of weapons and fortified settlements suggest radical social change.
