Since the beginnings of the first millennium before the Christina era, certain emblematic monuments appeared in Majorca and Minorca which were constructed on a base of large blocks of stone: the TALAIOTS.

These constructions are one of the most enduring and interesting manifestations of the prehistory of the Balearic Islands.
