Talaiotic period (850-550 cal BC) (The settlement, houses)

By 1988 the remains of five dwellings had been found, which were constructed according to a comprehensive plan with the Talaiots and the ramparts as a point of reference.

house 1 house 2
house 3
house 5

House no. 1 and house no. 4 were positioned in a spiral around Talaiot 1; houses 2, 3 and 5 were arranged in the shape of a straight X, which joined Talayots 1 and 2 and the rampart. Each dwelling had one or two rectangular rooms of around 30-45 square metres, with a column which supported the roof, made from logs and branches of wild olive tree.
